Communication

We will have three means of communication:

1) A chat-room where we will meet as a group for one hour every Thursday night at 8:00 p.m. Mountain time (7:00 p.m. Pacific, 10:00 p.m. Eastern), beginning January 22, with our last meeting on February 12. These chat sessions are simply question-and-answer periods with me.

2) A 24-hour discussion board where you can discuss issues with other students. I will occasionally chime in and answer questions.

3) E-mail for sending homework and asking personal questions. You can attach your homework as a Word file or RTF file, or snail mail it to me directly, or fax it to me at 801-756-5781.

Class procedure
A class week begins on Thursday. The homework may be submitted any time during the week. Thus, I suggest you do your Week 1 homework by January 22. However, homework may be submitted as late or early as you wish. On Thursday nights those who wish to will meet together in a chat room with me for a question-and-answer period of one hour. There will also be a 24-hour discussion board for students to communicate among themselves and share ideas.
